Gleaning The Harvest

8/15/13:  Though we had a slow start, it is now rare that we visit the Garden of Hope without running into someone gleaning tomatoes and peppers from the vines.  In fact, one man had cheeks stuffed like a chipmunk full of cherry tomatoes.  Leviticus 23:22 comes to mind.  “Leave them (the gleanings) for the poor and the foreigner residing among you.”  It is awesome to see how this garden has allowed us to meet some physical and some spiritual needs in the community.  The harvest is white.  Linda
